Comparative Pilot Study

Hemineglect and Virtual Reality
Chloé Sauvage, a lecturer-researcher in physiotherapy and rehabilitation at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, conducted a study on the use of Virtual Reality to assess Unilateral Spatial Neglect (USN) in stroke patients. The aim of this study was to compare the conventional Bells test with the same test performed in Virtual Reality. The tests were carried out using Virtualis equipment with the "Bells Test VR" module. Her report states: "Virtual Reality could provide additional information on the type of USN thanks to the various testing modalities available."
